Day before Thanksgiving

I've been getting to the gym more regularly. Of course I feel better for it and as always, wonder why I slack off. Oh well. It's the start of the holiday season. My husband and I are going down the driveway to my brother Tom's for a big family feast tomorrow. Should be about 25 people there. Saturday is my nephew Alex's birthday party. His birthday was actually on Monday but my brother Don is having a family get together for him on Saturday. I made a birthday card from pics of him my husband took. It came out pretty good and very individual.

November Update

Well, I went to the gym 3 times this week. As always, I feel really good when I work out. I wonder why I keep getting side tracked away from it? However, as to food intake, I didn't do well. So, probably a zero gain/loss for the week.

The 4H club I am affiliated with, the Mayfield Community Guys and Gals, has asked me to lead a hiking/backpacking project. The leader provided me the 3 project activity guides and a helpers guide. I "teach" the 1st session next Monday. The guides cover all the basic information on clothing, gear, Leave No Trace and other aspects of hiking and backpacking. I should be able to cover quite a bit of area in the time alloted on Monday. I'll get a chance over the winter to cover other areas. By spring, we should be able to begin actual hiking.

Restarting

Today I got my lazy self up and to the YMCA gym. It felt good to get back into it but this afternoon, my legs are a little wobbly. No problem. It will go away soon enough. So, is it possible to lose 6 pounds during Thanksgiving month? If I have enough will power it is. Especially if I can get to the gym often.
